Ibn Battuta Mall hosts the Dubai Police iftar cannon on 24 and 25 April

Ibn Battuta Mall, the world’s largest themed mall, is hosting the Dubai Police iftar cannon at the Egypt Court parking entrance on 24 and 25 April at iftar time. 

An iconic Ramadan tradition, the iftar cannon dates back to an age before clocks were invented where communities were alerted of the Maghrib prayer and the end of the daily fast through a single cannon shot at sunset.  Visitors can watch the Dubai Police iftar cannon blast, accompanied by luxury supercars and break their fast at Ibn Battuta Mall’s endless variety of restaurant options.
